There is a new way to travel around Europe, which has become fashionable, and that is by rail. After the European Train Network appeared, trains are growing in popularity as the preferred way of going from one interesting place to another. Trains as a means of transportation are better for those who want to see more places in just one trip.
Travel to any distances – short, medium and long – can be carried out by trains across Europe. There is a wide railway network densely covering not only Western and Central Europe but the whole continent. More than twenty countries and hundreds of cities are included in the European Train Network, which allows tourists on a luxury world cruise to see the most of Europe. These trains are speedy, reliable, their schedule is very convenient with trains arriving and departing almost every half an hour.
Those who go on a luxury vacation usually see trains as a substitute to airplanes. Carriages of trains are more spacious and comfortable inside and in this way make a traveler more relaxed. Trains in Europe will provide you with a splendid opportunity to explore new routes and to discover the beautiful countryside. You will also be free from the necessity to stand in the long line in security. Moreover, railway stations are generally situated approximately in the center of the city, while airports are usually a long way from the cities. Trains are even considered to have something of a romantic feel. Train tickets bought beforehand are also cheaper. Furthermore, if you miss one train, it is easier to take another one in about half an hour.
Taking into account all the above mentioned reasons, it is not difficult to make a conclusion that train travel has turned into a leading way of traveling around Europe for those who go on a luxury vacation. Even if you ignore its romantic touch, you cannot but agree that it is practical and simple. New technologies have made the European Train Network extremely successful, because stops are possible in most European countries and its most prominent cities. Train trips win over air travel because of their availability, prices and comforts.
Bvlgari is a brand of high end luxury watches. The name Bvlgari is a Greek name Bulgari but it is spelled Bvlgari which is ancient Roman language. Sotirio Bulgari was the founder of this brand. He was a silversmith in a Greek village. But for the love of Roman art and architecture, he migrated to Italy and settled there. He established his shop in Italy in 1884 and transformed it into a family business. Sotirio Bulgari was well known for fusion of Roman art and modernity. Later on he and his two sons opened their flagship store in Via Condotti and chose an esthetically philosophic name for it. They called it ‘Old Curiosity Store’, after a novel written by Charles Dickens. Being a silversmith, Sotirio was very good at fine work. His work carries remarkable originality with substance. The pieces made by Bvlgari possess a very distinct artistic character which makes them lot more than simple time pieces.
Sotirio had his own way with designs which were different from the prevailing ‘French goldsmith school’ at that time. He possessed the courage to introduce techniques that deviated from the French school. The forward looking originality of pieces attracted the popular couple of 50’s. Tyrone Power and Linda Christian chose their wedding rings from Bvlgari. This is a clear indication of Bvlgari’s superiority over most of their competition.
Taking the demand for jewelry watches into consideration, the Bvlgaris decided to launch their own watch too. Hence the Bvlgari-Bvlgari watch was presented in 80’s, which made headlines world wide. This masterpiece collection is still considered a classic, due to its original pure lines and double logo engraved on the bezel.
Today as of 2010, Bvlgari is celebrating its 125th anniversary. It’s very rare to find a watch with One hundred and twenty five years of experience and expertise embodied in it. Every movement, at Bvlgari, takes 1000 work hours to be finished to excellence. Bulgari possesses all the knowledge they need to manufacture their complications themselves. The Bvlgari makes even the watch case in a manner that it becomes part of the design. Those who don’t want a very dressy, precious stone studded, attire chose ASSIOMA Bvlgari, for that professional look with silent charisma in the air. ASSIOMA Automatic watch comes with Ivory color dial and alligator strap, all contributing to the majestic demeanor. This watch is marked with 42 hours power reserve and an automatic winding which is mechanical.
The only problem with the Rettangolo counterpart is their cost and limited edition, each piece numbered. The Rettangolo counterpart watches solve this problem with hard work hours marking their effort. They are accurate time pieces, but not as water proof as the original Bvlgari. There upon user of Bvlgari reproduction timepieces is advised to avoid shower, swimming and diving when wearing the replica watch.
Around a year ago, I went on a skiing vacation to France and had a great time by all accounts. The best part was that I went with all my friends, all of which had varied abilities, but were all eager to give it a go. Some of my friends compete in competitions and the like, whilst others have only been on the slopes a few times in their life. The fact is that we were all really looking forward to it, and we were all sure to enjoy ourselves whilst we were away. Unfortunately, we don’t spend much time together, as we all go to different colleges, whilst others are trying to make it through the rat race.
When we decided to book the holiday I was delighted to hear that everybody was able to make it, and that everyone had promised to save up enough money to really enjoy themselves while we were away. The cost of booking the holiday worked out at around $300 for accommodation for the week as we were going to be staying at a backpacker’s location, and it was only going to cost $150 for return flights. We really felt like we had struck a bargain, and we were even more delighted when we heard that the cost of living would be really cheap when we got there. We had decided to save up $1000 each, which meant that we would have more than enough spending money for when we arrived.
I have to say, I never quite expected Europe to be such an excellent skiing destination for people like us with mixed abilities. Sure, there are the Alps, but I thought these were only the playground of the expert skiers. How wrong I was! There are simply loads of different places in Europe you can go, regardless of your skiing ability, and you’re almost guaranteed to have a great time. Also, the facilities right on the resorts are out of this world. It really is a great place to go skiing.
We arrived in France, and we were firstly shocked at how laid-back it all seemed. It was some surrealist painting, except in motion, with strange, stereotypically French characters passing by. Regardless of this initial culture shock, we soon got our skis on and experienced the awesome slopes for ourselves. Trust me – France is a great place to go skiing with your friends, and a great place to go on a vacation if you’re looking to have a good time.
We chose France for our vacation, but there are loads of great European ski resorts, and in fact, some people even say that Europe is the home of the sport, and it is easy to see why. If you’re looking for a great time, go for Europe, to experience a wholly different way of life, and skiing that is simply second to none. Check out your travel agent for good deals, and remember that the more flexible you are, the cheaper your holiday. By booking up the flights at the last minute, you can end up saving loads with some of the budget airlines, and by being totally flexible, you can avoid peak times, which means you can avoid peak prices. Your vacation in Europe doesn’t have to cost the earth, but it can be a once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget.
If you’re going on holiday this year then getting solid travel insurance isn’t just a good idea, it’s essential. Medical bills abroad can be extremely costly and it’s simply not worth taking the risk. You needn’t break the bank though, provided you’re prepared to compare travel insurance quotes and shop around a bit to find the best deal. Here are some points to consider:
Annual cover
If you’re overwhelmed each time you look online to compare travel insurance and find the process irritating and repetitive, it can be easier to get annual cover and then not worry about travelling for a whole 12 months. Especially if you’re going to take three or more trips abroad in a year, annual cover is definitely the way to go, as you can often save yourself money as well as time.
Ski trip extras
If winter sports are your thing, make sure that your travel insurance covers you specifically for skiing and snowboarding. A normal travel insurance policy will not be sufficient on the slopes and will not be valid for a claim if you injure yourself. It’s worth taking the time to compare travel insurance quotes from sports specialists who deal specifically in winter holidays for the best prices.
Excess charges
When you compare travel insurance you need to have a look at how much excess you will have to pay should you get injured, require medicines, lose your luggage or have your money stolen. Some insurance companies charge as much as £200 for excesses, which is fine for a large medical bill but not so good if you lost your£60 handbag. Excess charges can be as low as £30, which can make a big difference to your claims.
Cover limits
Not only do you need to check the excess limit, your cover limit is essential when you compare travel insurance. No policy worth its salt will have a cover limit of less than £1 million. This should be the absolute minimum, but you can get much higher limits. Again, particularly if you are skiing, a much higher cover limit is recommended, between £3 million and £5 million should be fine.
Don’t rely on EHIC
You need to find a comprehensive travel insurance cover for your travels abroad. Whilst the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) can help reduce the costs of medical treatments in Europe, the only way to make sure you are going to get adequate medical treatment abroad is to compare travel insurance and get a decent policy.
